Flora

In the animated film, Sleeping Beauty, Flora was one of the fairies that raised Princess Aurora after she was cursed by Maleficient. When Aurora was born Flora gave her the gift of beauty. Flora wears red with yellow accents, and she tends to be the leader. Flora and Merryweather fought over the color of a dress they made for Aurora. Flora kept making it pink, and Merryweather would turn it blue. In the Disney Junior series Sofia the First, Flora, along with the other fairies from Sleeping Beauty, are instructors at Royal Prep.

In Pixar's film, A Bug's Life, Dr. Flora was the doctor of the ant colony.

Flora was the Roman goddess of flowers and spring, and she was the wife of Zephyr, the west wind. In 2015, 173 girls were named Flora in the United States.

José

In Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros, José Carioca was a Brazilian parrot that was friends with Donald Duck and Panchito Pistoles. When Donald and José first met, José took Donald on a tour of Brazil and taught him to Samba. After they met Panchito, the three went on a tour of Panchito's native Mexico. He has made small appearances in other Disney cartoons also. He once helped Minnie Mouse make Brazilian food for Mickey Mouse.

In the animated Disney channel series Phineas and Ferb, José Doofenshmirtz was the grandfather of Heinz Doofenshmirtz. His mother was Gretel Doofenshmirtz. He passed down Gretel's Doofenshmirtz Meatloaf recipe to Heinz.

José is the Spanish and Portuguese variant of Joseph, which itself is derived from the Old Testament Hebrew Yosef, which means 'he will add'. In 2015, José was the 80th most popular name for boys in the United States. It was also given to 11 girls.

Penny

In the 101 Dalmations franchise, Penny was one of Pongo and Perdita's puppies.

In the film Bolt, Penny was a child actress whose co-star was her own dog, Bolt. After Bolt got lost, he traveled across the country to find her. She nearly died from a fire in the studio but Bolt arrived in time to rescue her. After the incident, the two of them quit Hollywood and moved to the country.

In the film The Rescuers, Penny was a young orphan girl who was kidnapped by Madame Medusa who needed a child to fetch a diamond from a narrow hole for her. She was rescued by Bernard and Bianca, and later adopted.

In the series The Proud Family, Penny Proud was the daughter of Oscar and Trudy Proud. She was a talented singer and a straight A student. She was on the football team and works for the school newspaper.

In the Inspector Gadget franchise, Penny was the niece of Inspector Gadget. She often helped him with his cases.

In the film Sky High, Penny Lent was the leader of the school's cheerleading squad. She was able to make multiple clones of herself.

Penny is a diminutive for the Greek name Penelope. Penelope is a name from Greek mythology. In Homer's Odyssey, Penelope was Odysseus' wife. When he was believed dead, she delayed remarrying by weaving a burial shroud for her husband, but every night she undid what she had weaved the day before. So today the name is generally thought to mean 'weaver', but it likely originated before the story and referred to a type of bird. Arjun

Arjun was the protagonist in the Indian film, Arjun: The Warrior Prince, which was producted by Walt Disney Pictures. It was only shown in a very limited engagement in the U.S. The story is based on the Sanskrit epic Mahabharata. Arjun was a warrior and Prince of Hastinapur who married the daughter of the King of Panchala. His brother wagered him and their other brothers in a game called chaupar. After he lost, the brothers were sent into exile for twelve years. If any one of them were found, the twelve year exile would begin again. Arjun disguised himself as a maid to the prince of Viratnagar, who narrated his own story to the young prince. In the end, he revealed his true identity to help the prince win a battle.

Arjun is a modern variation of the Sanskrit name Arjuna. It's meaning is 'white, clear.' Arjun was the 500th most popular name for boys in the United States in 2015.

Eudora

In Disney's The Princess and the Frog, Eudora was the mother of Tiana. She was one of the finest seamstresses in New Orleans, and made dresses for Charlotte La Bouff. She worried that Tiana worked too hard, and hoped she would find a husband.

Eudora was the name of a Hyades in Greek mythology. The Hyades were nymphs that were the daughters of Atlas that brought the rain. It's meaning is 'good gift'. In 2015, only 7 girls were named Eudora in the United States.

In Pixar's Finding Dory, Bailey was a beluga whale that lived at the Marine Life Institute in a tank next to Destiny, who was a whale shark. He thought his sonar skills were impaired, but it was all in his head. He helped Dory find her parents.

In Disney Channel's Suite Life on Deck, Bailey Pickett was a student on the S.S. Tipton. She was born on a farm in the country. She and Cody Martin, also a student, were romantically involved.

Gideon

In the ABC television series Once Upon a Time, Gideon was the son of Belle and Rumpelstiltskin.

Gideon McDuck is Donald Duck's uncle, and brother of Scrooge McDuck. He is called Uncle Giddy, and only appeared in comic books. He was a journalist and the editor of the County Conscience. Gideon and Scrooge were business rivals through Scrooge's newspaper The Duckburg Chronicle.

In the film Zootopia, Gideon Grey was a fox that bullied and mocked Judy Hopps for wanting to be a police officer. He grew up to become a baker, and he worked with Judy's parents. He apologized to her for being mean to her when they were kids. He told her about the night howler flowers that helped her solve her case.

In Disney's Pinocchio, Gideon was a cat who was a con artist. His partner was a fox named Honest John.

Captain Gideon Gorelieu, aka, Captain Gore was a character created for the Haunted Mansion attraction, but his story was eliminated, and the only trace left of him is the sea-captain's portrait in the mansion.

In Gravity Falls, Gideon Gleeful, aka, Li'l Gideon was a television psychic that owned the Tent of Telepathy. He had a robot called Gideon-bot.

In Sofia the First, King Gideon IV was King Roland II's grandfather. He banished the trolls from the kingdom when he thought they were attacking the castle. In fact, they were just banging their clubs on the ground because they were happy at seeing the stars.

Gideon Goat, aka Giddy Goat was a character in Mickey Mouse comic strips in the 1930s.

In the Disney Channel animated series, Phineas and Ferb, Candace Gertude Flynn was the older sister of Phineas, and half-sister of Ferb. Her best friend was Stacy Hirano. In Disney channel's Star Wars Rebels, Hera Syndulla was a Twi'lek and the owner of the freighter ship, Ghost. She also owned a droid named Chopper. She was an expert pilot and marksman. Her homeworld was Ryloth, and her father, Cham, led the resistance to the Empire there. She eventually left her world and became a member of the Rebellion.

In the animated film, Hercules, Hera was the wife of Zeus and Hercules' mother, but in Greek mythology, his mother was a human.

Stefan

King Stefan was the father of Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. His wife was Queen Leah. In the ABC series Once Upon a Time, Graham Humbert was the original Sheriff of Storybrooke. In the Enchanted Forest, he was known as the Huntsman. He was raised by shape-shifting wolves, and had reverence for animal life. When the Evil Queen asked him to kill Snow White, he agreed to if the wolves were protected. In the end, he could not bring himself to kill Snow. He tried to deceive the Evil Queen with a deer's heart. When she discovers the fake, she takes his heart instead, using it to control him. In Storybrooke, Graham and Regina were lovers, but he began to develop feelings for Emma Swan. When he kissed her, he began to remember his life in the Enchanted Forest. Once he remembered, Regina killed him by crushing his heart.

In the Disney channel series Dog With a Blog, Graham Cavanaugh was a famous television host.

In the Disney channel series A.N.T. Farm, Graham was a chef at IHOW that Olive was romantically involved with.

In the Disney channel series, Liv and Maddie, Madison "Maddie" Rooney was a basketball player and twin sister to actress and singer Olivia "Liv" Rooney. She was in a long term relationship with Diggie Smalls, but they broke up because he became an exchange student and didn't want to stay in Wisconsin. Roland

In Disney Channel's Sofia the First, King Roland II is the King of Enchancia. He had a twin son and daughter Prince James and Princess Amber. He fell in love with a commoner named Miranda when she came to the palace to deliver shoes. He married Miranda and made Miranda's daughter Sofia a princess. Roland has a sister Matilda, also known as Tilly. His father was King Roland I.

In the movie Strange Magic, Roland was a fairy.  He was engaged to Marianne, Princess of the Fairy Kingdom until she caught him kissing another fairy. Roland, wanting to become king, teamed up with an elf named Sunny, who was in love with Marianne's sister Dawn, to get a love potion from the Sugar Plum fairy to make the sisters fall in love with them. The potion didn't work because during the course of the story, Marianne had found her true love. Roland got sprayed with the potion himself, and fell in love with a bug.

In ABC's Once Upon a Time, Roland is the son of Robin Hood and Maid Marian.

In the comic book series, Disney Kingdoms: Seekers of the Weird, Roland Keep was a wardan who protected magical artifacts. He was the uncle of Maxwell and Melody Keep.
