Hugo

In Disney Channel's Sofia the First, Prince Hugo was a student at Royal Prep. He tried out for the flying derby team but didn't make the team. When Prince James was injured, he flew in and won the championship race with Princess Sofia. His horse was named Electra. Hugo was also a member of the ice hockey team until he realized how much he loved ice dancing. He was embarrassed to be an ice dancer, so he hid his participation from his friends and his father, until Princess Sofia convinced him to leave his hockey game to come to the ice dancing recital.

In Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hugo was a gargoyle on Notre Dame that was one of Quasimodo's friends.

In the film Tomorrowland, Hugo Gernsback was an audio-animatronic that ran the Blast From the Past comic book store.

In television series, The Legend of Tarzan, Hugo and Hooft were deserters from the French Foreign Legion that were comic relief.

Hugo is a form of the name Hugh,derived from the Old Germanic word for "heart, mind, and spirit." In 2015, Hugo was the #432nd most popular name for boys in the United States.

Olivia & Liv

In the Disney Channel series, Liv and MaddieOlivia 'Liv' Rooney is an actress and singer who returned home to Wisconsin be close to her twin sister Madison 'Maddie' Rooney. She moved to Hollywood as a young girl and lived with her aunt. She was the star of television shows, "Sing It Loud", and "Voltage". She also starred in the movies, "The Skateboard Bandit", "The Funaways", and "Space Werewolves." Her parents were Pete and Karen Rooney, and she also had two brothers, Joey and Parker. She was also in a band called "The Dream" with friends Holden, Willow, and Andie. She briefly dated Holden.

In the Disney animated film, The Great Mouse DetectiveOlivia Flaversham was a young mouse who sought help from Basil after her father was abducted.

In the Disney Junior series, Doc McStuffinsOlivia or Liv, is a toy space rover that acts like a puppy.

Olivia means "Olive tree." In 2015, Olivia was the 2nd most popular name for girls in the U.S. The nickname "Liv" ranked as a stand-alone name at #720.

Mateo

In Disney Channel's Elena of Avalor, Mateo is a friend of Princess Elena. He is the grandson of Alakazar, who was once the Royal Sorcerer of Avalor. Mateo is following in his grandfather's footsteps, and is a wizard in training. Despite the fact that he was still learning his trade, Elena and the Royal Council appointed him as the Royal Sorcerer. He uses a tamborita to cast spells.

Mateo is a Spanish form of the Hebrew name Matthew, which means 'gift of god.' In 2015, Mateo was the 85th most popular name for boy in the United States.

Amber

In Disney Channel's series Sofia the First, Princess Amber is Princess of Enchancia. She was the daughter of King Roland II and twin sister of Prince James. Queen Miranda was her step-mother and Sofia was her step-sister. Amber was very girly, and loved dresses, tiaras, and shoes. She had a peacock named Praline, a unicorn named Lyra and a flying horse named Saffron. Her best friends were Princess Hildegarde and Princess Clio. 

In Hannah Montana, Amber Addison was a classmate of Miley Stewart. She was best friends with Ashley Dewitt, and the two of them often teased Miley, Lilly and Oliver.

In Sonny with a Chance, Amber Algoode was the president of Chad's fan club. 

In 101 Dalmations: The Series, Amber Dearly was the niece of Roger and Anita.

In That's So Raven, Raven had a classmate named Amber.

In ABC's Pepper Ann, Amber O'Malley was a new girl at Pepper Ann's school who quickly became the most popular girl in their grade.

Amber is an English name from the word for a gemstone. In 2015, Amber was the 334th most popular name for girls in the U.S.

Florian

Florian is the name of the Prince in Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The name is not used in the film, but has been stated in other instances, such as in Disney on Ice. Prince Florian and Snow White met while she was working as a servant for the Evil Queen. After she disappeared, he continued to look for her, until he found her glass coffin with the dwarfs mourning her. He kissed her and broke the sleeping curse she was under.

Florian was also the middle name of Prince Ben, son of Belle and Beast in Disney's Descendants

Florian is a Latin name, derived from a Roman clan and the Latin word for flower. Only 17 boys in the United States were named Florian in 2015.

Charlotte

In the Disney animated film, The Princess and the Frog, Charlotte La Bouff was a good friend of Tiana's even though she came from a very wealthy family. When Prince Naveen came to town, she wanted to marry him just because he was a prince. She tried to help Tiana & Naveen break the curse by kissing him when she was 'Princess' of the Mardi Gras parade, but she was too late.

In Disney Channel's Sofia the First, Princess Charlotte of Isleworth was cursed when she refused to allow a goblin to attend her party. She was turned into a beast by a sorceress who was the goblin's friend. With Princess Sofia's help, Charlotte made friends with the goblin and redeemed herself, breaking the curse.

Charlotte is a feminine variation of the German name Charles, which means 'free man'. In 2015, Charlotte was the 9th most popular name for girls in the U.S.

Leopold

In ABC's Once Upon A Time, King Leopold was the father of Snow White. He was betrothed to Eva, Snow White's mother, before he ever met her. In the meantime, he met and fell in love with Cora, and planned to marry her instead. Eva discovered that Cora had a child out of wedlock and told Leopold. Leopold broke off his relationship with Cora and went through with the marriage to Eva. Many years later, after Eva's death, Cora threw Regina into Leopold's path, and through a series of manipulations got them to marry. Regina eventually arranged to have him killed by the genie who became her magic mirror.

In ABC & Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Leopold Fitz was a technology expert and engineer that was a part of Agent Coulson's team. He and Jemma Simmons worked so closely together that they were sometimes referred to as 'Fitzsimmons'.

In the Disney Channel series, Timon & PumbaaKing Leopold was the king of the leopards. He had two sons and a daughter named Claudia. He made Timon & Pumbaa her body guards briefly.

Leopold is a German name that means 'brave people.' In 2015, 92 boys in the United States were named Leopold.

Isabel/Isabelle/Isabella

In the Disney Channel series, Elena of Avalor, Princess Isabel was the younger sister of Crown Princess Elena. Isabel was trapped inside a painting with her grandparents for 41 years, by the royal sorcerer in an attempt to save them from an evil sorceress. When Elena was freed from the Amulet of Avalor, she freed her sister and grandparents too. Princess Isabel was an avid inventor, and very close to her big sister.

In the Disney Channel Series Phineas & Ferb, Isabella Garcia-Shapiro lived across the street from Phineas & Ferb. She had a crush on Phineas, but he seemed oblivious. She was a member of the Fireside girls, and often helped the boys on their projects.

In the Disney Channel Series Wizards of Waverly Place, Isabella was a girl that Justin had met on Wizface, and began to date. She did not tell him that she was a werewolf, and temporarily turned him into one too.

In ABC's & Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Isabelle 'Izzy' Hartley was an member of S.H.I.E.L.D. She came in contact with a diviner, and died in a car accident while being rushed to the hospital.

In Ridley Pearson's Kingdom Keepers novel series, Isabella 'Willa' Angelo was one of five kids who modeled for Disney to make interactive holograms in their theme parks. She's a bit of a geek, and loves archery and swimming.

Isabel is a Hebrew name that means 'God is my oath.' It is a very popular name in the United States. In 2015, Isabel ranked at #149, Isabelle ranked at #94, and Isabella at #5.

Cinderella/Ella

Cinderella was Disney's second princess. Orphaned at a young age, Cinderella lived with her step-mother and two step-sisters, who treated her like a servant. Her real name was Ella, but her step-sister's named her Cinderella since she was often covered in cinders from sleeping too close to the fire. Her fairy godmother used magic so that she could attend a royal ball, where she met her prince.

In The Suite Life, Ella was a girl who dated Zack Martin for one episode.

In Camp Rock, Eliza "Ella" Pador was an airhead that sang backup for Tess. She had a talent in fashion design.

Ella is usually a shortened form of 'Eleanor' which is a German name that means, 'other, or foreign.' The Hebrew version of the name means 'goddess'. Ella was the 18th most popular name for girls in the United States in 2015. Cinderella last appeared in the Social Security Administration's name database in 2010, when it was given to 8 girls.
