Lilo

In Disney's Lilo & Stitch, Lilo Pelekai was a young orphaned girl who was being raised by her older sister Nani. Lilo had trouble fitting in, and social workers were concerned about the two sisters. Lilo had a fondness for Elvis Presley. At an animal shelter, Lilo met the alien outlaw Stitch, who she thought was a funny looking dog. Stitch and Lilo got Nani fired from her job, and both made an effort to reform. Stitch was sentenced to exile on Earth in Lilo's care.

Lilo is a Hawaiian name that means 'generous one.' In 2014, 18 girls in the United States were named Lilo.
