Arjun

Arjun was the protagonist in the Indian film, Arjun: The Warrior Prince, which was producted by Walt Disney Pictures. It was only shown in a very limited engagement in the U.S. The story is based on the Sanskrit epic Mahabharata. Arjun was a warrior and Prince of Hastinapur who married the daughter of the King of Panchala. His brother wagered him and their other brothers in a game called chaupar. After he lost, the brothers were sent into exile for twelve years. If any one of them were found, the twelve year exile would begin again. Arjun disguised himself as a maid to the prince of Viratnagar, who narrated his own story to the young prince. In the end, he revealed his true identity to help the prince win a battle.

Arjun is a modern variation of the Sanskrit name Arjuna. It's meaning is 'white, clear.' Arjun was the 500th most popular name for boys in the United States in 2015.
